Rooms are above a very large pub, which can get very lively and loud from about 7.30pm, but does tend to empty before midnight. No real ales, but some are available at small Butcher's Arms pub opposite. Plenty of pubs all nearby for pub crawls which locals tend to start at the top of the town (it's not very steep) and make their way down to the bottom of the town approx half a mile in length. Plenty of takeaways, with an Indian and a Chinese Restaurant at the bottom of the town.
